Bill Dunn 400m Handicap 1993
Disappointing, these two events were not well supported by club athletes as
in the past (this may have been due to John Lewis’ 21st birthday coinciding
with the final) therefore, as there were only twenty three athletes that took
part, there were no heats and hence the final lacked something in atmosphere.
Handicapper Scott Hennessy did a good job however, and ensured an extremely
close men’s final with Scott Davis (71m) edging out Jarrod Shaw (40m)
by 0.09 seconds with Mark Nichols (44m) third.
