Laura Triffett 400m Handicap 1999
Jessica Lyden claimed her second in the 1999 Laura Triffett 400m handicap race.
Held on January 21st, 18 athletes completed in the annual Sandy Bay Harrier Club event.
Due to only three women competing, the Laura Triffett race was a straight final with Jessica Lyden, Cassandra Smith and Mandy Giblin running with the men in the Bill Dunn final.
Jessica Lyden also ran a strong race, passing Cassandra Smith in the last 100m
to win the race for the second time in 63.01 seconds, which was also the fastest
time. Cassandra held on well to finish second, with Mandy Giblin in third place.
